Human Endocannabinoid System

The human endocannabinoid system (ECS) is comprised of specific receptors throughout the body that react and bind with CBD.

What is the Endocannabinoid system?

Our human body contains an endocannabinoid system (ECS) that contains both CB1 and CB2 receptors that react to cannabinoids. The ECS plays a pivotal role in physiological processes such as mood, memory, pain and appetite. Our two main ECS receptors, CB1 and CB2, can be found within our brain, nervous system, as well as peripheral organs and tissues.
